FIBA 2026 AWARDS – COSPLAY PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Entries are now open for the FIBA 2026 Awards, Iberanime’s cosplay photography competition, which aims to promote and celebrate cosplay photography in Portugal, recognising the works that stand out most for their creativity, technical quality and ability to tell stories through images.
Entrants may submit between one and three photographs, across the categories of Natural Light, Artificial Light, Special Effects and Setting & Context. All photographs are automatically entered into the Grand Prize and the People’s Choice Award, and there is also the possibility of Honourable Mentions being awarded.
Entries are open until 23:30 on 6 September 2026. The photographs will be judged by a panel of expert judges and the winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony, held as part of Iberanime Matosinhos 2026 on Sunday, where all participating photographs will also be on display.

Iberanime presents Asian Pop Dance, a competition dedicated to dance inspired by Asian pop culture, with a special focus on K-pop, J-pop, and related styles.
Open to dance schools and amateur groups from across the country, Asian Pop Dance aims to showcase talent, creativity, technique, and stage presence in an atmosphere of healthy competition and spectacular entertainment.
The selected groups take the stage to perform routines lasting up to 5 minutes, which will be judged by a professional dance jury that will determine the grand winner.
