Alejandra (Anhyra Cosplay) is a professional cosplayer, prop maker and special effects make-up artist based in A Coruña, Spain. Having been creating high-quality costumes since 2013, she specialises in crafting film-style armour, building complex props and creating special effects.
With extensive experience working directly with the video game industry, Anhyra has brought iconic characters to life for leading studios, including Bungie (Destiny 2), Activision Blizzard (World of Warcraft, Overwatch), PlayStation (Death Stranding 2), Funcom (Dune: Awakening), Team17 (Blasphemous II), Sharkmob (Bloodhunt), Bethesda Nordic and Xbox SE (The Elder Scrolls Online).
Her work has led her to showcase her talent at major international events such as Gamescom, TwitchCon, the Brazil Game Show and PAX East.
She has also won awards at major cosplay competitions, including Best Armour at BlizzCon Online and Best Cosplay at the DreamHack Beyond International Cosplay Championship.
As a renowned industry professional and judge, she has been invited to over 10 countries to judge major competitions, moderate panels and deliver specialist workshops on cosplay creation.
