Tatiana Arazaki is the creator of the TATINOTABI project—which, in Japanese, means “Tati’s journey.” Through workshops and the creation of handcrafted pieces, Tatiana recovers her Japanese origins and shares her knowledge of various traditional crafts, such as Origami, Furoshiki, and Mizuhiki.

At Iberanime Santarém, Tatiana will lead workshops dedicated to Furoshiki and Origami, two iconic expressions of Japanese culture that combine creativity, technique, and tradition.

Furoshiki is a traditional art of wrapping in fabric, used in Japan for centuries, which allows you to wrap gifts, transport objects, or create reusable alternatives to disposable bags and packaging, promoting more sustainable practices in everyday life.

Origami, the art of paper folding, invites participants to transform simple sheets of paper into decorative and symbolic shapes, exploring the precision, patience, and aesthetics that characterize this ancient practice.

In these workshops, participants will have the opportunity to learn different techniques and practical applications, discovering new ways to integrate these Japanese traditions into their daily lives.
