Comedian, presenter and actor Marco Horácio is one of the most charismatic and versatile figures in Portuguese entertainment. With a career spanning more than two decades, he has won over audiences with his talent for humour, improvisation and empathy — qualities that have marked iconic national television programmes such as Levanta-te e Ri (Get Up and Laugh) and Salve-se Quem Puder (Save Yourself If You Can).

Marco Horácio recently ventured into a new creative format that combines humour and visual art: Marco ao Quadrado. Launched in March this year, the project presents short comic strip stories, with the artist’s characteristic humour, adapted into comic strip format. The concept and graphic design were handled by Djinn Creative Labs, and the illustrations were signed by Joana Rosa and Carlos Fernandes.

At Iberanime Porto 2025, Marco Horácio joins Joana Rosa for a relaxed conversation in the Drawing Zone, where they will share behind-the-scenes stories, inspirations and curiosities about this project and other experiences that combine art, narrative and humour.

🎨 An unmissable session for fans of comics, storytelling and comedy!
