Nadia Jin is a Portuguese-British multidisciplinary artist, entrepreneur, author, illustrator, and senior graphic designer, who also specializes in PowerPoint presentations. Her work spans fields such as children\u2019s publishing, corporate communication design, textile design, and applied arts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Early in her career, she demonstrated a strong ability to apply her graphic design skills across different disciplines, from fashion to editorial design. She is noted for creating textile patterns at the Alexander McQueen studio, as well as for authoring and illustrating the book *Arthur the Scout and His Epic Adventures*, included in the publication *100 Artists of Europe* by Culturale Lab, and which will be presented on Saturday on the Japan stage at Iberanime.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nadia began her professional career in Portugal in the early 2000s as an eyewear designer at Killine (formerly CreativOptic), working with international clients such as Elizabeth Arden and The Little Prince. In 2006, she took a short course in Fashion Design at the University of Westminster, moving to London the following year to pursue a postgraduate degree at the London College of Communication. In 2008, she developed textile patterns at Alexander McQueen\u2019s studio, including the Optical Dress from the Resort 2009 collection, later worn by Victoria Beckham and Kim Kardashian. During this period, she also collaborated on textile collections for the Tatjana Anika brand, promoted by supermodel Eugenia Silva.<\/span><\/p>\n

Between 2013 and 2021, she joined Mott MacDonald as a graphic designer and PowerPoint specialist, working on projects for entities such as the British Embassy and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, contributing to the company\u2019s win of a CESA Award in 2020. More recently, between 2022 and 2024, she served as a senior graphic designer and PowerPoint specialist at DataOps.live, helping the company achieve Snowflake Elite Partner status.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired by her own family\u2019s migration experience, she wrote and illustrated *Arthur the Scout and His Epic Adventures*, completed in 2025 and later featured in USANews. The book explores the theme of displacement through a child\u2019s perspective, examining how challenges can also pave the way for new opportunities and foster empathy in young people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, Nadia Jin resides in Lisbon, where she continues to work as a senior graphic designer and PowerPoint specialist, collaborating with leadership teams in the UK and internationally.
